GEICO’s 2012 Achievement Award program

It’s with great pleasure that UTD is invited to participate in GEICO’s 2012 Achievement Award program – designed to recognize exceptional undergraduate students majoring in business, mathematics, computer science and related fields. 

The program requires that applicants:

  • Are currently enrolled full-time at an accredited four-year college or university
  • Possess sophomore or junior status
  • Have achieved at least a 3.0 overall undergraduate GPA
  • Are majoring in business, computer science, mathematics or a related program (including economics, MIS, statistics)
  • Have demonstrated leadership within their campus and/or community

Join career coach, Carol Ross, as she facilitates a networking experience to remember (in a good way!)  Based on principles that all successful networkers use, you’ll learn how to take the stress out of networking and get better results, in a way that feels natural to you.  Before the session is over, you’ll get to know several alumni in a deeper way, with information that is not just nice to know, but great to know.  We’ll conclude with tips on how to integrate in-person networking with online networking.
